Our "Stage 1" cylinder head. The BimmerHeads "Touring" M20 cylinder head is for those of you who like to do things right! This version of our 885 head is great for those planning to build a totally stock engine all the way up to a dedicated SpecE30 race car. Our Touring head comes standard with new Supertech stainless steel black nitride valves. This head allows the option of original (good used condition) OE BMW dual valve springs, new OE BMW dual springs, or BimmerHeads high performance dual valve springs.
Our Touring cylinder head is completely torn down and rebuilt receiving the following:
Cleaning
Pressure testing
Resurfacing
New Supertech valves
New valve guides
New valve seals & camshaft seals
New OEM replacement rocker arms
New rocker arm hardware & eccentrics
New intake & exhaust studs
Our cylinder heads are built to order. There are no cancellations allowed on cylinder head orders. Please expect a minimum lead time of 6 weeks due to our current workload.
Price INCLUDES a refundable $700 core charge.
Once you have received your BimmerHeads cylinder head please re-use our packaging to send your core 885 cylinder head back to us. Once your core has passed our inspection and testing you will be issued a refund.
