BimmerHeads is an independent full-service machine shop and engine builder. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or in any way officially connected to BMW AG, BMW of North America, or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.
  • The name "BMW" as well as related names, marks, emblems, and images are registered trademarks of their respective owners.
  • Any use of trademarked terms on this website is strictly for nominative purposes to identify the compatibility of our parts and services with specific classic vehicle models.

3. Core Return & Order Cancellation Policy

Due to the custom nature of our mechanical work, the following strict guidelines apply to vehicle builds, parts orders, and machine services:
  • Covered Orders: Orders for our built-to-order engines and cylinder heads, the M20 Stroker Kit, or CP-Carrillo forged piston sets cannot be canceled once placed, subject to applicable law. Please confirm your selection before ordering. This cancellation rule does not limit our case-by-case review of an incorrect, damaged, or defective item after delivery under our Refund Policy.
  • Core Charges: Products sold with a core charge require the customer to return an acceptable, rebuildable core within the designated timeframe to receive a full refund. Return shipping costs for cores are the sole responsibility of the customer. Cores that fail structural inspection or present non-repairable damage will result in a forfeiture or deduction of the core refund.

4. Parts & Installation Disclaimer

All parts, engines, and cylinder heads we sell are intended for racing and off-highway use. Buyers are responsible for checking and complying with all applicable local emissions and vehicle-modification laws before purchase, installation, or use. BimmerHeads does not determine whether a product is legal for a buyer's vehicle or location and is not responsible for a buyer's failure to comply with those laws, to the extent permitted by law.
  • Professional Installation: We highly recommend that all performance engine components, cylinder heads, and long block engines be installed by a certified technician or a professional. BimmerHeads is not responsible for any engine failure, vehicle damage, or personal injury resulting from improper self-installation, tuning, or installation errors.
  • Fitment & Modifications: Buyers are responsible for confirming fitment and the legality of their intended installation and use. BimmerHeads does not represent that any part, engine, or cylinder head complies with emissions or vehicle-modification requirements in a buyer's location.

5. No Product Warranty

BimmerHeads does not provide a product warranty on the parts, engines, or cylinder heads we sell or build. Requests involving an incorrect, damaged, or defective item are reviewed case by case under our Refund Policy. That process is not a product warranty. Any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.

6. Website Content Accuracy

While we strive to keep all pricing, wait times, production estimates, and parts lists accurate, typographical or technical errors may occur. BimmerHeads reserves the right to correct any pricing errors, change lead times based on current workshop demand, or modify product specifications without prior notice.
