This Shipping Policy outlines our process for handling, shipping, and delivering your orders. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

How Shipping Rates Are Calculated

For most items, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package weight and size, and selected service.

Complete-engine freight is billed separately, not calculated at checkout. We will invoice the freight cost when the engine is complete and ready to ship, as described on the engine product page.

Order Processing & Delivery Estimates

Most in-stock orders ship within 1–2 business days of purchase. Built-to-order engines and cylinder heads, the M20 Stroker Kit, and CP-Carrillo forged piston sets have production lead times before shipping. Check the applicable product page for its current production estimate; the 1–2 business day in-stock processing estimate does not apply to these items.

Standard ground shipping typically delivers within 3–5 business days after dispatch, depending on your location. Processing and transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed. BimmerHeads is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other factors outside our control.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

Carrier-calculated options, such as UPS, USPS, or other common carriers, will be shown at checkout based on your shipping address. Oversized or heavy items may ship separately, require a specific carrier or freight service, or have higher shipping and handling charges due to dimensional weight.

PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and certain remote locations may have limited service options or longer transit times.

International Shipping

Available international shipping methods and prices for most items are calculated at checkout based on your address, order weight, and carrier options. Complete-engine freight is invoiced separately when the engine is ready to ship.

Duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in our shipping charges. They are the recipient’s responsibility and are collected by the local customs office or carrier. We cannot mark orders as “gift” or declare a lower value on customs forms. Customs processing may delay delivery beyond the carrier’s estimated transit time; those delays are outside our control.

Oversized & Special-Handling Items

Certain products are oversized or require special handling. Shipping and handling charges for these items are calculated individually at checkout, except for complete engines, whose freight is invoiced separately when they are ready to ship. Oversized items may ship in separate boxes or via freight or a different carrier, and may require additional handling time.

Tracking & Delivery

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking information where available from the carrier. Please allow some time for the tracking link to update. Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, BimmerHeads cannot control how or when it is delivered.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. BimmerHeads is not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect or incomplete address information. If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address or repeated delivery attempts, we may charge additional shipping to resend the order.

Expedited Shipping

If you need parts on a tight timeline, expedited shipping options may be available.

For urgent or time-sensitive orders, please contact us before ordering or refer to any expedited shipping information provided on our site. Expedited shipping costs are billed at carrier rates plus any applicable handling fees.

Shipping Promotions

From time to time, we may run shipping-related promotions (for example, discounted shipping or free shipping on specific items or order values).

Promotional terms will be stated in the promotion details, such as an email, banner, or landing page. Where a promotion conflicts with this Shipping Policy, its terms will apply to qualifying orders for the duration of the promotion.

Shipping options, rates, carriers, and this Shipping Policy are subject to change without notice.

This page is the official source of truth for the BimmerHeads shipping practices. In the event of any discrepancy between this page and other information (emails, ads, or past promotions), the terms listed here will control.
