The BimmerHeads M20 Stroker Kit — built around what we've learned from more M20 stroker engines than we can count, and the exact kit we spec on every one. Available in 2.8L, 2.9L, 3.0L, and 3.1L for early (1987 and older) and late (1988 and newer) M20 blocks.

Every kit includes:

  • CP-Carrillo forged piston set — pistons, wrist pins, piston ring set, and wrist pin clips. The clear choice for M20 builds after years of in-house testing at BimmerHeads
  • Reconditioned original BMW crankshaft (2.8L) or forged original BMW crankshaft (2.9L and larger) — every crankshaft cleaned, inspected, and micro-polished before assembly
  • Crankshaft seal adapter sleeve, OEM crankshaft bolt, and machined washer (2.9L and larger)
  • ACL Race main and connecting rod bearing sets — the bearing we spec on every in-house M20 build

Options:

  • Molnar H-Beam connecting rods — 4340 billet, ARP2000 hardware, ±.0001" tolerances, USA-made. Standard or Power Adder versions available at a discounted rate when added to this kit
  • Turbo piston upgrade — heavy-duty castings and ring set for forced induction builds

Standard specs: 885 head casting, 10:1 compression, 85mm bore — all customizable at no charge (request at checkout or email us after ordering). Designed for 135mm connecting rods — compatible with Molnar H-Beam rods, OEM M20B25 rods, and OEM S50/S52 rods.
