Every M30 performance head receives:

• Cleaning & pressure testing
• Resurfacing
• Porting & polishing by hand
• New valve guides
• New performance valve seals
• New rocker arms
• New rocker arm locks
• New rocker arm hardware & eccentrics
• New intake manifold studs
• New thermostat housing studs
• New exhaust manifold studs
• New valve cover studs

Camshaft and rocker arm are selected together as a single option above.

Camshaft options:

• BimmerHeads 284 — more lift and duration for strong mid-range and top-end pull. Great street manners with a noticeable gain.
• BimmerHeads 292 — a more aggressive grind for higher RPM power. The go-to for a dedicated performance build.

Rocker arm options:

• Febi OEM Replacement Rockers — new Febi OEM-spec rocker arms. Our go-to for stock-style replacement.
• Forged Steel Rockers — KM Cams forged steel rockers with a wider pad for better cam contact. Eliminates the failure risk of cast rockers under performance use.

Valve options:

• Used OE BMW Valves — good used condition OE BMW valves, inspected and ready to run.
• Stainless Steel Valves — upgraded stainless valves for better durability and high-RPM performance.

Valve spring options:

• Used OE BMW Dual Valve Springs — good used condition OE BMW springs, inspected and ready to run.
• Performance Dual Valve Springs — BimmerHeads high-performance dual springs for high-lift cams.

Each head is built to order — no cancellations once placed. Allow a minimum of 8–9 weeks production time.

Price includes a refundable $700 core charge. Once your BimmerHeads head arrives, use the original packaging to return your core M30 cylinder head (with camshaft). Cores that pass our inspection and testing receive a full $700 refund. If the camshaft is unusable or repairable damage is found, we will contact you before any deductions are made. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

IMPORTANT: Please specify your M30 cylinder head type in the notes at checkout. We most frequently work with the E24/E28 M30B34 and E32/E34 M30B35 cylinder heads.
